Information on the cost of travelling

What does the programme cost cover? Are there any other costs?
For students travelling on a summer programme, the programme fee covers your accommodation, scheduled activities and the majority of your meals. You will also need to pay for your flights (including any internal flights required for the option that you choose). We will book these on your behalf and ask you for payment along with your programme fee.
For students travelling on a trip departing during the Easter vacation, the programme fee covers your accommodation, scheduled activities and international flights. The programme fee does not cover meals.
For students on all programmes, you will also need to pay for your visa, any injections that you may need, transport to and from the UK airport, and for any activities and meals that you take part in during your free time. (Please note, this is not an exhaustive list of your costs, just the major ones!)
When will I need to pay the balance of the trip?
If you are travelling on one of our summer trips, participants must pay 50% of the outstanding balance by Week 10 of the Lent term and then the final balance must be paid by Friday Week 8 of the Summer Term.
If you are travelling on one of our trips departing in March 2017, the final payment will be due on 15 January 2017.
How much spending money will I need?
Arranged scheduled activity is covered in the cost of the trip but social excursions are not, so you will need to pay for any of these.
If you are travelling on a trip departing in the Easter vacation, meals are not included as part of the trip fee, so you will need to consider this when deciding how much spending money to take.
