What does the Welcome Desk provide for students?

The Welcome Desk is the first face you will see when you come to Lancaster University Students' Union. We are here to help you with any questions, queries or problems you may have! Simply pop in to see us, give us a call or drop us an email!

We provide information on everything the Students' Union offers, from volunteering to Green Lancaster to advice and support. If we can’t answer your questions, we’ll direct you to a member of staff who can! 

The Welcome Desk also supplies free latex and latex-free condoms, lubricant, and sanitary products. Depending on the time of year, the desk has also provided free items as part of campaigns ran by the Students' Union. This has included free pencils cases provided by our Advice and Support team and cleaning products towards the start and end of the academic year as part of our ‘Moving On and Moving Out’ campaign. The desk also provides printing and laminating services for students and colleges and free pocket maps and bus time tables! 

Where can you find us?

The Welcome Desk is located in the Students' Union, next to the Learning Zone! There is plenty of comfy seating, a selection of games, and a book swap for students to bring in their old books and swap them for an interesting new read.
